SPCOxion (2014-02-02 08:19:16)I started learning Python, but quit relatively early. I don't know why.
Same goes for Java, but I understood it a bit more, and liked how it worked.

GuitarBoy (2014-04-11 19:55:52)Python and Java are terrible languages.
Seriously, use a C language.

GuitarBoy (2014-04-11 19:58:44)Oh and @Daniel97, just because a programming language is of a higher level, doesn't mean it's more readable.
Take BrainF*ck for example.

I know all C++, Java, Python and I think Java comes first for me.
SomeLuigi is changing in 2015.

GuitarBoy (2014-06-27 02:28:48)Wait, looking back at this thread...Python is a system language and not just a server-side language for web development??!!

carlos11 (2014-08-05 09:38:19)Definitely Python.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.
MeNobody14 (2014-09-02 03:21:18)"Python and Java are horrible languages."
Yet they are used professionally worldwide. Hmm..
It's time for review, kiddo!
DoctorSatan (2016-02-18 18:29:55)C++. For me personally, it's a matter of a familiar Syntax; I first started programming in PHP, which is obviously based heavily off C's syntax, as is C++.
I've done a little bit of Python and it's okay, but I don't care for the lack of curly brackets; I indent anyway, and find it (a little) difficult to read. It's nothing major, but I prefer C++.
I don't know much about Java to really comment on it, but I've read some code snippets and it seems like more work to achieve the same result. Like I said, I don't know much about it so I could be wrong; it's just not my cup of tea.

Myth (2016-06-11 17:01:50)Python is very fast, but lacks some functions that c++ and Java has. Both c++ and Java work fine.

Java or C++. I've never used Python.
