My name is Vanessa. I live in a normal neighborhood, with normal people. Life was fine.

Was.

We, [my parents and I] had decided to get a dog when I was eight. We went to the dog pound, [because helping a dog that might die made my mom feel better.] and chose one. The dog was not ordinary, though. When we first picked him up, he was tiny. And he had a cute little puppy smile. Or, at least, I thought it was a puppy smile.

You see, when he grew up, his smile gradually turned into, well.. A smile. A human smile. Not a puppy dog smile.

Creepy, right?

I've gotten used to a dog that grins and chases people. [Having a dog that can scare the crap out of those annoying neighbors comes in handy.] But, sometimes I wish I had a normal dog. He attracts unwanted guests. Like Jeff, and the Rake, and the stupid photo.. The dog is a real help when they come around, and ever since I first saw Jeff, I've been obsessed with CP's! Their cool, and interesting. [I hate the gore, though..] So that's the backstory of my life. Even having a smiling dog was kinda normal. And everything was fine, until we moved.

My dad got a job transfer, and we had to move to another neighborhood on the other side of the state. The only upside, was the stories.

They say a woman was frozen by an ice monster. And the forests behind the houses hold Slenderman.

Totally awesome!

I looked into these, [and was dissapointed] But didn't find anything. Not until I went on my first day of school.

I had gotten on the bus, and sat toward the back. This girl named Prissilla sat next to me. [her name totally suited her.] She wore make-up and nail polish, and was one of those girly girls. Her hair was curled.
Mine was straight.
Her hair was blonde.
Mine was brown.

I was glad to get off of the bus. I found my locker, and put my stuff in. It was right next to a boy's locker. And he never really talked to me.

Until I decided to say hi.

^ School must be killing you.

"Want" Doesn't have an apostrophe.

It was a month after my first day of school. I had waited until the lunch break to talk to him.

He opened his locker, and I walked up. When he closed it, I held out my hand to shake. "Hello!". I tried to use a cheery voice, so as not to make him feel uncomfortable. He shook it and said "Hi.". He studied me for a moment, and then I told him my name. "My name is Vanessa." I said. "Jerry." He replied. "Your on the cheerleader squad, right?" He asked. "Yeah. Practice is this afternoon." I told him.

Briiiiiing!

I left for class, hoping to make friends with Jerry soon.

Jerry walked away to his class, wondering why a girl just talked to him. Maybe she was just friendly.. He thought. She can't know my secret.. Can she?

After school, Vanessa went home and got straight to her room. I set down my bag, and flipped open my laptop. I went to google and did a search on Jerry. There were lots of results, [as always] and when I finally found him, she realized he lived right nextdoor! I found him on a creepypasta wiki, which, seemed odd. Maybe he's just a user.. I I I thought.

Jerry, son of slenderwoman, is the supposed king of the 'nightmare' realm. His step-father is slenderman, and nobody knows who his real father is. He's a killer being who can set people on fire and instantly incinerate them.

This was the first time I'd googled a friend and found something interesting. I read it again, and instead of feeling fear, I felt excitement. I turned the computer off, and went next-door to his house. I rang the doorbell and smiled. Finally! I get to meet a real creepypasta! He opened the door, and looked surprised. "Hi Vanessa." He said. I examined him. He looked tired, and he had a bruise under his eye. "Did the jocks give you that?" I asked. He nodded and invited her in. I sat down on the couch, and he sat in the chair across from me. We talked about school for awhile, and finally, got around to CP's. "Do you know who this is?" I asked. I held up a picture of Jeff. "Yeah. Thats Jeff the Killer." He responded. I showed him a few more, and he denied them. "Who's this?" I asked, holding up a picture of slenderman. "I won't say his name." Jerry replied simply.

It was hard to believe that this kid was a CP. He didn't really look like one, and she hadn't blown up. So what's the deal? I thought.

I sat there, Studying Jerry. He didn't seem like a evil type. He seemed normal.

Seemed..

He twitched, and I jumped. "Something wrong?" He asked. "N-no.." I said, unsure if I was lying or not. "I gotta go.." I said. I left. Scared.

Jerry got up the next morning, thinking about Vanessa. "I wonder what she's like when she's normal." He thought aloud. He stretched, and rubbed his tired eyes. He went to the bathroom, and looked at himself in the mirror. He had bags under his eyes and a few stray hairs on his chin. I'll need to start shaving soon.. He thought.

Two years..

He had aged a lot in that time.

Two years without her..

Living alone had its perks, but it also had its cons. His mother and father lived in their mansion in the forest. He had a choice. Become one of them, or live in civilization. He chose the latter. Going from King to nerd every week was becoming normal.

Nothing is normal these days.. He thought. He bounded down the steps and headed out for school.

He survived another day of school, and avoided Vanessa. After school, he went to the mall. His cousin said she wanted to meet him. He wandered through the place for awhile, until he found her in the womens attire section. Great.. He thought. "Looking for a new hoodie?" He asked her as he approached. "Yeah. My old one got shredded." She replied. "Invincible, growing hoodie." He said, showing his off. "Boast all you want. It's not gonna make me jealous." She said. "So why did you want to see me?" He asked. "Cause your soooo cute!" She exclaimed sarcastically. "Very funny, Jane." He said. "Is your hair darker? Or am a imaging things?" He asked. Jane used her hands to brush out her hair. "I dunno.." She said, confused. Jerry chuckled. "I need your help." She said. "Okay. Be at my house. Seven O-clock, sharp." Jerry said and left.

I rang the doorbell, hoping Jerry was home. He was, and he opened the door. "Hey.. Come on in.." He said. I sat down in the living room, and he sat across from me. "What brings you here?" He asked. "This." I said and handed him a piece of paper. I had printed out the web-page on him, and I wanted to show it to him. He read it. And read it again. He scratched his head. "This is on the internet?" He asked. "Yes." I said. He burst out laughing, and I simply sat there, trying to keep a straight face. "And you believe this is me?" He asked, grinning. "Yes. I do." I replied. He became silent. He thought for a moment, and then asked a question: "What if I said yes, I was him?".

"Then I'd slap you." I said. "Well, I am him." Jerry responded. I slapped him, but he didn't react to it. "Do you have proof?" I asked. "Make me mad an' I will." He said. "Oh.. Ok.." I said.

We chatted about school and life, [though it was mostly me] until there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it." Jerry said. I sat and waited a minute, until he brought a girl in. She looked to be about sixteen, and had black hair and a pale face. "Meet my cousin, Jane." He said. I sat there for a moment, wondering what she was gonna do. "Do I get to play with her?" Jane asked Jerry. I started freaking out. "No. Not her." Jerry replied. Jane went upstairs, and I stayed on the couch. "Your cousin is Jane the killer?" I asked as I started freaking out. "Yeah. I'm king of nightmares and you didn't freak out at that.." He said. "Thats different!" I protested. "Yes. It is. Though worse, not better." Jerry responded. "Yeah! Well.." I stuttered. "You have freckles.." He said, gazing into my eyes. "I do?" I felt my face, he was trying to confuse me. "I mean.. I do." I answered. "Blonde hair, freckles, yellow-green eyes..." He stared at me like I was the prettiest thing in the world. I, of course, blushed and looked away. "Stop it.." I said.

"Why?" He asked. "Because.." I was beginning to feel uncomfortable. "You look a lot like Debbie Ryan.." He said. "Really?" I absent-mindedly curled my hair around my finger when he said that. "Yeah.. You sound a bit like her too.." He stepped closer and I jumped. "Stop it!" I nearly yelled it. "Sorry.." He said as he took a step back. "I'm gonna go.." I said. He didn't protest, so I left.

"Wow! I thought she'd never leave!" Jane exclaimed. "Shut up." Jerry retorted. "You like her, don't you?" Jane persisted. "Your annoying, aren't you?" Jerry replied. "Your the one that let her in." Jane said. Jerry rolled his eyes and turned away.

Cool. I like the 1st person naration, but you have to make up a way to clearly seperate Jerry and Vanessa's point of view. It's a little confusing.
Death is not the end. It is merely a step towards the unknown.

You should really continue it.
Hi.
MeNobody14 (2013-05-14 23:25:35)
^Continue? Gee.. Why would I do that?

I got up the next morning, ready for school. Normal life seemed boring. The only interesting thing is Smiley. I patted his head on the way out the door, and hopped on the bus.

When I arrived at school, the first thing I did was go to my locker. Then, school proceeded like normal.

Math.
History.
Spelling.
Geography.
Etc.

I was glad when school was over, because I wanted to talk to Jerry. I don't know why I am so interested in him, but it's something to do, you know? I met him at his house, and he had a friend there.

"Hey Vanessa, meet Cason." Jerry said as I walked in. "Hi." I said. "Hey! Your the girl that Jerry likes!" Cason exclaimed. Jerry was blushing and trying to get Cason to shut up. "Err.. What'd you wanna talk to me about?" Jerry asked. "I want to invite you to dinner." I said. Cason looked like he was about to say something, But Jerry stopped him. "Sure. Can Cason come along?" He asked. Dang.. I thought. I wanted to speak to him alone. "I gotta go.." Cason said.

Yes!

"Oh. See ya' later." Jerry said to him. "Bye!" They bumped fists and Cason left. "Where do you want to eat?" I asked Jerry. "Hmm..." He thought for a moment, and decided that a burger place would be nice.

We went to Burger King®, got our food, and sat down to eat. Jerry didn't say anything. He didn't move, either. His tired eyes simply stared at the food. "You didn't have to buy it for me.." He said. "For the hundredth time, I offered, you accepted!" I exclaimed. He still stared at it. I had the feeling it was Me, not the food.
"Am I bothering you?" I asked him. "Let's see.. I'm sitting with a celebrity look-alike, I have food that she paid for, sitting infront of me, and I happen to think that the celeb you look like is very pretty.." He pretty much summed it all up. I set my food down, trying to keep composed. "You think I'm pretty?" I asked. He grinned and munched a fry. "I didn't say You are pretty, I said the celebrity is." He said.
"You also said that I look and sound almost identical to her." I added. He continued grinning, and kept his eyes down. "You listen.." He thought aloud. "Yes. I do." I said.
"Let me ask you a question." Jerry started. "Does this count as a date?"

I thought about what to say next. It was obvious he liked me. And, somehow, I liked him too. "Well.. What do you think?" I asked him. He stared at his food, and decided to start eating. I stayed silent, and gazed at him while he ate.
When he finished, he wiped his mouth with a napkin, and sat quietly. "I've never really liked anyone.. Y'know?" He said. I nodded and waited for him to move. "Do you want to go out for a walk?" I asked him. He nodded, and we left.

We wandered around for awhile, making small talk. Things like school and everyday life. He never mentioned his parents, and I had to assume they were busy. We ended up on a beach, and the sun was setting quickly. I took off my jacket and sat next to the water. "How do you know when you like someone?" Jerry asked from behind me. I thought for a moment, hoping to get my answers right. "I think you have to decide whether or not you love someone.. Then, if things work out, it becomes a feeling." I answered.

I'm actually debating on whether to do "We" or another story about another person.

If I did a third story, then all of them would tie into one. Kind of like the "Avengers".

I'm not sure if he understood it or not. He sat next to me, and shivered. "It's cold." He said.

We sat together, watching the sunset. He leaned his head against my shoulder, and eventually fell asleep.

I took him home, and set him on the couch. He was quite groggy, so I let him lay there. I walked into the kitchen and got some water for him. I turned around and yelped. Jane was standing right there. "Hello." She said. "Hi." I said as I brushed past her. I sat down next to Jerry, and handed him the water. He simply stared at it. "Shouldn't you be getting home?" Jane asked. I shrugged and said "It's friday night." She glared at me and stormed off. I sat with Jerry, who had a tough time staying awake. "Mind if I sleep over?" I asked him. "N-no.." He said. We eventually fell asleep on that couch.

I awoke, and looked at the clock. 3:46 "It's still early?" I whispered. I was leaned back on the couch, and Jerry was laying across my lap. He looks kind of cute.. I thought. I rubbed his back and went back to sleep.

When I awoke, Jerry wasn't there. Saturday.. I thought. No school! I stretched and stood up, still tired. "Jerry?" I called. When he didn't respond, I called again. "Jerry?" I looked in the kitchen, and saw him sitting at the table, staring at a picture. When he saw me, he tucked the photo in his jacket. "Hi." He said. "Hi.." I said as I sat down across from him. "Who was in the photo?" I asked him. "Huh?" He acted surprised. "The photo you tucked into your jacket." I said. He blushed.

Busted!

He handed me the photo. It was a picture of a young adult girl, reddish brown hair, freckles, and a pleasant smile. "Who's this?" I asked. "Rebecka.. My god-mother.."

I looked at the picture, and studied him for a moment. He seemed sad, but I couldn't figure out why.

Thump..

"What was that?" I asked Jerry. "I don't know.." He replied. "Lets go check it out." He said. I followed him to the source of the noise. Upstairs, in a bedroom. He walked to the doorway and stopped. His face contorted in anger. I walked behind him and looked in. Jane was on the floor, holding her stomach and groaning in pain. There was a figure at the window, and I assumed he knocked her down. "Glad you decided to show your face, Mynor. I've been waiting two years for this!" Jerry said as he lunged. He rammed into Mynor, and they crashed through the window. I ran to the window, careful not to step on the shards of glass. They were fighting eachother in the backyard, punching, blocking, ducking, rolling, and grunting like two little kids.

I turned around and kneeled next to Jane. "You okay?" I asked. "I.. w-will be.." She gasped out. "J-just got the.. the wind.. k-knocked out of m-me.. That's a-all.." She said. I helped her into a sitting position, and looked back out the window.

Mynor seemed to be getting the upper hand. I jumped out the window, and landed on my knees.

Bonehead move. I know.

I managed to get up, and fall right back down as Mynor lunged at me. I looked him in the face, and recognized him. "You!" I exclaimed. He got a puzzled look on his face that soon morphed into recognition. "Ah, dearest cousin. So nice to see you!" He said, smirking. Jerry tried to lunge, but I grabbed his hood and pulled him back.

"Your name is Minor?" I asked. "MYNOR." He emphasised his name. "You know this guy?" Jerry asked me. "Unfortunately, yes." I said. "I'll explain later."
